		<description>We used to &#039;patch&#039; grails core scripts as you have done above but after several painful upgrades we have started to take another tack and now defer to using Gants event binding model. (See http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GRAILS/Scripting+events)

What this would mean is you create a %PROJECT_HOME%/scripts/Events.groovy file and add in (using your script as a reference above) 

eventConfigureJettyEnd = {
   // do stuff
}

The obvious thing that might be an issue is where you&#039;ve removed the setHandler(webcontext) call, replacing it with two calls to addHandler(xxx)

Assuming that calling addHandler after the built in unmodified script has called setHandler still results in the same as two addHandler() calls, then it should be ok.</description>
